I just bought an 03 Evo Vlll two days ago and I am already looking to make performance upgrades. I have been looking at the AMS and Buschur websites. I was thinking about going with one of those two companies and upgrading in the stages they have listed unless anyone else has better suggestions. I would also like to know what people are running in the 1/4 mile with just the AMS or Buschur stage 1 packages. Thanks

To answer your first post broadly, if you go to either Buschur or AMS, you are going to be dealing with the best in the business. Now that we have that part covered, let's get into details a little...

Strictly speaking in terms of staged upgrades, I personally do not agree with the AMS progression. I think the BR progression makes more sense. However, if you add up all the mods for all the stages on either side, you end up with a great combo. What you need to do is decide what you want to do with the car, what your goals are, how you're going to use it (drag, circuit, autox, rally), and how much you want to spend. After figuring those things out, we can help you get there.
