need Help With Boost Problem

i have a mbc tbe fuel pump and a ams base flash and my car was running 20 lbs no problem.

recently when the car was at WOT in first and second my boost guage will say im boosting 17-18lbs....and the needle was moving back and forth 17 to 18 and car does feel sluggish.

anybody know whats going on?
i havent had anything put on for a long time.

could it be a boost leak??

could be a small boost leak. could be because of the hot weather too. here in ohio we are seeing consistant 85-90 degree weather and i had to up my boost a little bit to get me back up to 22psi

so its possible 2 lose 2 lbs of boost from the weather??

Yes, in hot weather, the boost goes down just as boost goes up in colder weather. We also lose power due to the less dense air.

However, if your boost is set to 20psi, then I would only expect you to see 17-18psi in 1st and 2nd, because there is less load. You will see 20psi in 3rd, 4th, and 5th, because they have higher load.
