There was an article in superstreet or import tuner comparing HP to noise a while back and I'm pretty sure it was focused on the EVO but I'm not posotive.

I have a custom TBE, Ebay O2, 3" Ultimate Racing downpipe, Random Tech HFC and 3" Fujitsubo RM01a. Everything cut and welded to allow V-band clamps and 3" all the way through (except of the resonators) ... but man is this thing quiet! Almost sounds like stock!

I just recently heard the Tanabe Touring Medallion. The guy had a 3" DP (Don't remember the brand) and a resonated Test pipe as well. And I was pretty impressed. It wasn't loud at all... (At least compared to mine.) Sounded deep as well. Even when he was reving it, it wasn't bad at all. I'm thinking about swapping to the Tanabe now...

Thanks guys. Do you have any clips with Tanabe Touring TBE? Their downpipe is 2.75" I believe. How is it compared to the other DPs? I am not planning on ever going over 350WHP

Look above. The EVO 2 is as close to stock as you will get, with great fitment and quality to boot
