only boosting 10PSI ? ? stock solenoid??
May sound like a newbe question, but last night i took off every single mod that i have and reverted back to stock. After putting it all back together, took it for a ride, and it only boosts 10PSI but holds it to red line... dont drop or spike.
I am running a dynoflashed ecu, and thinking about putting my stock map back in...
My question is... Why only 10PSI Did i switch up my vacuum lines on the stock boost solenoid?
Here is what i did...
1) valve closer to the battery is connected to the nipple under the intake...
2) Valve closer to headlight is "T"d off between the turbo and the wastegate....
Seemed right at the time but now it sounds like i am bypassing my solenoid and running straight waste gate.
Again, sorry for the newbie style post, havent been stock for almost 2 years now, and forget how things go...

When you put your MBC on, surely you took out the brass pill, not you put it back stock, and I BET you didn't put the pill back in the line. That is your problem if you ask me. Get a new line with the pill in there.................noob

Yes i took out all the stock vacuum lines. No, i didnt replace them with the OEM style ones with the brass pill in em... i didnt realize that little pill would make such a big difference.. Car sure does pull hard at 10 PSI though

I think the real noob was the parts manager at the
dealer that i called
...gave him vehical specifics and he was like... "those are very confusing hoses, you might have to come in and show me on the diagram, cuz i am not sure which ones you are talking about"
This was after 5 minutes of explaining to him that they came off the boost solenoid and go to the wastegate/turbo and have pills en em!
What are the prices on these anyways? thanks!
He is always asking my vin and such information that i never reveal. he just wants to write down every part i buy probably so he can use it against me later....

Does it require the special vacuum line from the Intake to the boost solenoid also, or can i get away with regular vacuum lines? I ordered new kit from mitsu dealer, but not sure if it comes with both lines or just the line to the turbo/wastegate...

okay i give up, taking it to the dealership unless someone says otherwise..
I went and purchased the vacuum kit from mitsu installed it and nothing. Thought i had put the wrong hose on the wrong part (meaning thought i mixed up which line goes to the turbo/WG) NOTHING!!!! still will only boost 10PSI.. I attempted to swap things and nothing... what am i missing!!@!!@ going nutts. thanks!
