What oil is everyone using in their built motors???

Just curious to know who uses what oil in their built motors. I heard 20w50 so far but i'm wondering what everyone else uses, let me know!!!

To break the motors in or during normal operation? During normal use I always revert back to using the same mobil 1 10w30 or amsoil 10w30

Redline 20-50 race synthetic.

You will want 20-50 to keep top end oil pressure under control unless you are running a ported oil control valve. Even then its still 20-50 in most of the race 4G63's I have been around over the years.

yea but is that fine for driving around normal as well?

Its what I use for everyday driving and then racing on the weekends. I have used it for the last 2 oil changes and been doing it every 3K. It looks so good both times I am gonna extend the interval unless I have been doing ALOT of racing in between.

It's my opinion that 20-50 is the safe grade of oil to use in high HP motors.
