Question Another BOV questions

First off I've been with this forum for a long time, since september, but have never posted. I've always just read everyone elses stuff. Well i got the HKS SSQV and i want to VTA. I just went to put it on and realized i forgot to get the 2G kit. here come the questions.
Anyone know where i can get just the flange?
What do i use to plug the intake hole from the stock BOV?

And heres another dumb *** thing my friend convinced me to do.
Since we couldn't put the BOV on without the flange we just vented the stock BOV. Bad idea if you ask me but he said it would be fine until i got to flange. Well since the same setup will be for the hks i did it. Now i got all the bad symptoms. low idle. It drops but then comes back up, i haven't stalled yet so thats a plus. and the bogging is driving me insane. Is this because its the stock BOV or will the HKS do the same thing? I also read someone disconnected there battery and reset the ECU. Could that work?

Any response will help.
Thanks

Because the car uses a MAF it will probably do the same thing. The ECU has accounted for the air that is being dumped to atmosphere. The right way to do it with either is to recirc the air.
If you want to hear it, get a cone filter.

You should be able to get just the flange just about anywhere that sells the valves. You can probably get the recirc kit there too.

so about the recirculation hole in the intake pipe. Plug it or just leave it open?
