cam install help

i am thinking about investing in some 272 hks cams, and i live in the nw suburbs of chicago. i was wondering if anyone around here has expirience installing cams, and if they would like to make some money installing mine for me. im not going to go to a shop and pay 90-100 labor fees and etc., when someone with expirience could do it for less money and still get a good pay for helpin out. let me know please...
thanks

so instead you get someone to do work at a fraction of shop rates that could easily blow your car up

The dude that cuts my lawn will probably try his hand at it for 70 bucks.

so basically you want some no name shop to install cams in your 30k for under 100 bucks

haha

it's your car bro...I'm ready for the "I got my cams installed and my car won't idle" thread

either do it yourself or pay to have it done right

First of all a shop it is going to charge you around $250-$300 not $90-$100. I have installed 7 sets of cams and charge $150. Anyone who takes anyless than that more than likley does not know what they are doing.

I have some hks cams up for sale if your still looking to buy a set. $250-$300 is the going rate on cam install to any shop you go to - to my knowledge.

I have to wonder where exactly you searched as I've found this information here with no problem time and time again.

Check out evomoto.com they have some faq's which are really good, almost as good as having someone hold your hand.

Yes peace of mind..

Somebody off the streets that'll do it for cheap. Breaks something during the process or something catastrophic happens 2 days after install and he's no where to be found.

Or.....a reputable shop/person that stands by their workmanship.
And who pays a million$ for a cam install !

Even with instructions, if your not somewhat mechanically inclined and w/out the right tools. I'd leave it to the pros.

Peace of mind.
