My 06 Evo MR has 15000 Miles with an AMS TBE, Intake, Base Flash, and still on Stock Clutch. I didnt notice it at first, but after launching a few times I noticed a sound coming from the front of my car everytime I let off the gas, but when gas is applied the sound goes completely away also when pressing the clutch all the way down it goes away and when releasing the clutch slowly the sound comes back.

The sound was very feint at first and now it has gotten much louder. It sounds like a rattle or very fast pace clicking. Does anyone know what this sound is and is it something serious like maybe a transmission problem or bad transfer case?

 

No 1 has any clue what this sound could be??

 

Whatever it is, Im sure its not under warranty... and that blows.

 

Sounds like the throw out bearing. Mines been doing it ever since i got the car from the previous owner. Does it get worse when you turn the AC on?
