walbro without a tune??

walbro without a tune??

Im getting a dynoflash tune soon hopefully but i dont have many days off to install my walbro except for thursday so i want to install it then but im curious as to how safe it is to run a 255 without being tuned for it? i searched this and didnt find anything so can anyone help me out.

you don't need a tune to run a walbro. it's just a high pressure pump which allows you to pump more fuel.

Its going to run a little rich, but it will be fine until you get it tuned.

running rich is better than running lean

i got a walbro fp without a tune ... its ok

no it won't. to run rich you would have to change the AFR w/ a "tune." the fuel pressure regulator is still doing it's job...
