Question about switching from 93 to 91 octane

My car is tuned on 93 octane. I just moved to the west coast. What should I set the boost to until I can get the car completely retuned? Or should I not take any chances at all and not boost at all until I can get it retuned? Thanks guys!

So, what was your peak boost on 93 octane? In the summer on 91, you'll probably want to run somewhere between 18-19.5 PSI. A lot depends on how agressive your particular 93 octane tune is, with respect to ignition timing and the leaness of the fuel map. Your safest bet is to get it reflashed for the lousier gas ASAP.

^^^^^ the car is running AEM EMS. But thanks for the advice, I think I should keep it low until I can pay to get it tuned again ($$$$$$).

91 octane sucks. You'd be surprised how much of a difference it makes. Just be safe.
