Will the 4G63 from the IX bolt into the Evolution III with the 5 speed transmission?

 

i think it should with little or no modifications since it's basically the same engine revised and with better performance.

 

no.... the trans/motor are mounted on opposite sides..... you would need a Evo IV or V and above engine and trans...... same as if i wanted to put a Evo IV-IX engine in my 1g talon.... wouldnt work..... Evo III is a go though... i even have a Evo3 16g in my car... sorry to be the bearer of bad news my friend..

 

Would it not mate up to the trans? Would a full IX engine and transmission be bolt in, or would I have to get custom mounts?
