Thanks for the responses! And thanks to the threadjackers that apparantly dont have time for this thread, but they have time to actually type a reponse to the thread they thought wasnt worth their time in the first place.... I'm thinking about getting an evo and putting a lot of money into it..so i was just seeing what you all would do. Once again thanks for the intelligent responses!

The problem is that you just joined and didn't bother to read the rules, which say that you must 1) Search before posting a new thread, and 2) use the newbie forum for newbie questions.

I can't begin to tell you how many people have asked this question with varying amounts of money as the target. If you don't bother to do ANY research, then you can't expect us to give you good responses. I could definitely help you spend that 100k wisely, and I'm right here in Colorado, but you'll need to help yourself some before I'm willing to help you. I hate spoonfeeding people, and I certainly don't want to spoonfeed someone who has $100k to throw away, which means you're already spoiled enough and don't need me to spoil you any further.

We also have a local Rocky Mountain Evo group if you want local help: http://RMEVO.com.

The trouble of it is even IF you spent 100k on an Evo, your only going to be happy for a week, then you'll be bored or want to change it again, or want to get something else when you get spanked by another car. Its the nature of the disease

EDIT: ^^^^^ ya what he said

wow i didnt mean to make this sooo complicated. I know all about the search button trust me ive been using the crap out of it and theres a ton of great info on this site...only problem is this place is HUGE compared to the forums im used to and its hard tu use search to find the answer to one specific question..unless its an insanely popular one..ie how much boost etc..and another thing.. i was in this forum years ago reading and then i just recently came back (never could remember my old pasword or name) and alot of things have changed...im sure this question has been asked before, but things are different now with the evos having been out for 4 or so years an the x coming out...i was interested to see see if what people want has changed. Which it has...a lot. For example it looks like people still love their evo 8s and 9s..bc no one mentioned trading it for the x, that tells a lot of you think about it for a sec. As far as research is concerned i have done a TON of it...im not sure why you think otherwise...the evo is not going to be the first car ive modded. and BTW spoiled is a nasty word...especially when you say it to me considering i made all of my money by starting my own company 2 years ago, and i would probably not spend 100k on an evo i was just implying no limits. I live in the real world too and have a 40,000 car (not an evo) and a 700,000 house to pay for. I was just seeing what people are into now.

Mmmm, k. Well, despite what you claim, none of that is evident by your posts. How about instead of making a random thread that means nothing, maybe make a post that really asks exactly what you want to know?

No, people ARE talking about the X, but it's not out yet, and we have no idea how good it will be nor how much it will cost. It's all speculation, and believe me, there is plenty of it. I guess you didn't look at the Future Evo sub-forum.

Anyway, your question is too vague and has no substance. How about getting an Evo first, learning to drive it, then decide what you want to do with it. After that, then you can figure out how you want to build the car to achieve that goal. You certainly don't do it by randomly asking how to spend 100k on your first post - that's lame.

I would take my evo and sell it, buy a Japanese evo and have them to send it to Garage HRS and have them put every mod in the world on it, tune it, and ship it to me.
Then send it to a custom body work shop and mold the new HKS widebody on it and put some kind of wicked paint on it.
Thats if I had 100k I could just throw away or just get it and the rules was just spend it on the evo.
Otherwise if I had the money to do what I wanted, I would buy much more useful things. Like new kitchen appliances and a secondary car so I wouldnt have to drive my evo everyday, and super computer system.

Bring it to Buschur and spend 30K and save the rest.
