Has anyone tried the PE Boost Controller/Gauge?

I was curious if anyone has any experience with the Power Enterprise unit. It's a combination of a boost controller and gauge (I like killing two birds with one stone) and it is supposedly very popular with the Skyline GTR people.

Any input would be appreciated.

Apparently these guys are selling it. I plan on purchasing in the next few months after a strong recommendation by an R32 GTR driving friend (See taillights in avatar).

Well they aren't cheap, but 2 birds with 1 stone is sweet. I'd love to get more info on them but it's damn near impossible to find. PM me with what you know about them. I do know that power enterprises is a great company, I had one of their turbos on my wrx. Anyway if you can drop me a PM and we can try to get more info on this. Try to squeeze as much info as you can out of your skyline friend.

Jeff

BTW: skylines are nuts, I'm assuming hes heavily modded if he is recommending parts. Must one crazy machine

I entered a similar post a while back and got zero feedback.

I did talk with RMR and they said it was a decent unit that seemed to work well. Since they sell it, I guess thats the very least they should say about it;-)

Personally I think its a pretty nice looking unit with some nice features packed into it, but would love to hear the straight-up story from someone who has spent hard earned money on one and has had experience with other EBC's. Anyone.......??

If you guys can wait a month or two, I'll be sure to give some quality first-hand feedback.

Jeff,

I'd PM you but I honestly included just about everything I know about the unit.

Definately a very capable unit...we have used them many times before (as we are a direct dealer too). I still prefer the HKS overall, but thats more personal preference than anything else (HKS is a bit more $$ as well)

MrBonus, I think im going to give thing a try also. I know PE is good stuff from my wrx days, and I've only heard/read good things about almost all of their products plus this thing is exactly what im looking for. I will be buying one within the next 2 weeks or so (thanks to much needed raise) Anyway I will let you know how it goes if I get to it first. I'll post back here.

Adam, Please PM me when they come in and I'm sure to pick one up in black face. Have you guys installed any of these in any other cars? If so would you be able to guide me if I have some troubles? Anyway when do you think you will have these in? say next week?

Jeff- figure by next Thirsday or Friday, as they are in the warehouse in Cali right now, and shipping out tomorrow...I could have one drop shipped for you directly if you want.

We have used them in a few other cars...some RX7's and a handful of WRX's as well
