Downpipe

I was about to install my downpipe and i found out that both of my tie bars are missing i think the last owner took them off and never installed does anybody have pics of where they go and where can i buy them?

he probly had them off due to the downpipe touching them witch can rub. Install the down pipe and they go right under the down pipe 2 bolts in the rear one and 3 bolts in the front one. bolts directly into the subframe. stock ones can be purchased at a dealer. i belive tien makes one as well.

Can I buy any after market tie bars?
Would not having one on the car explain the weird tire noise i get when i turn my wheel a little while driving on high speeds?

the newer tie bars that vendor's make should clear the DP...

just go aftermarket, itll cost you more $$ to get OEM. There may be people on here that are selling their stock ones...

I think you can also buy spacers if your dp still does not clear with an aftermarket lower tie bar setup.I have the HKS GT extenstion kit and it clears the factory front lower tie bars with no issues.As far as the funny noise it could be a number of things.Maybe you can check with a local performance shop and they might be able to give you a better answer.Good luck!

My dp cleared the tie bars however I got some spacers just to play it safe since it was a close fit
