Boost controller install? Wrong or right

I was told yesterday that my mbc in my evo was hooked up wrong. Does anyone have any pics of where and what theirs are hooked up to?

I have a turboxs. From the mbc where are the lines suppose to run since....my is told to be wrong? Does any lines run to the little black prongs that is connected to the MAF sensor harness?

The nipple on the bottom of the MBC (opposite of the knob) should be connected to a boost source. Most recommend the nipple off the turbo outlet, but some people use the BOV line. The other nipple (perpendicular to the knob) should be going to the wastegate actuator.

There are some diagrams floating around here somewhere.. try a search for them.

Just like he said. Use the turbo outlet though for the source. Much easier and no cutting of lines. Just make sure you don't reuse your stock bcs hoses. They have pills in them which will screw with your boost.

Make the lines as short as possible and use a little super glue (just a dab) to ensure they wont fly off at high boost. Some people use hair spray instead. Just a much cleaner look than ugly **** zip ties.

One line goes to your turbo outlet or bov (T) and the other goes to the wastegate. If you hook up your mbc backwards your boost will keep climbing....

I prefer bov (T) either way both work...its personal preference.
