I have an Evo in my possession that seems to have a lot of XS Engineering products and I don't know much about them and want to know if anyone has personal experience with them and what people think of them....

1) Racemax cams - Supposedly 272 cams, car idles OK. Needs a good tune, though! Not sure of gains. Car does have full crower valvetrain.

2) Racemax FMIC and piping - Has the upper IC pipe, lower pipe and FMIC. The FMIC itself leaves a lot to be desired for and want to switch to a Nisei or AMS setup as I know its proven.

3) Ignition amplifier - connected to engine harness. Engine will not start if its unplugged. I am not sure what it does and if its proven, per say!

Any advice appreciated!

 

ignition amp is a proven thing i am trying to find a tech article i read about it ..............it is on par with an hks dli system but i would def choose the hks part over the xs piece
