so im n the market for one... and i refuse to put a ebay part on a 30k car....

which one is better? the helix 02 or the buschur 02 housing?

i know they look identical, but im more concerned about the quality of the part.

suggestions?

 

The buschur is the ebay one, they just recoat it and sell it for more money. Because we all know that the more expensive something is the better it is...right? Dont waste your money on anything other than the ebay one, it is proven to work. Just buy it directly from www.ssautochrome.com so you know you are getting a decent one.

 

Oh and if you would of used the "search" button you could of easily of found this information, inside of starting another o2 housing thread.

 

If you really want it to perform, get the cheapest eBay one you can find that's still good SS and have a local fabricator convert it for external wastegate dump. You'll see more power from that setup, bit it will end up costing about $250 - $300.

if you don't want to go that route, go with eBay. I feel the same way as you and don't really want to buy eBay parts, but there is a point where you are just wasting money for a name.

 

man it sounds so sick with an external dump!
