This is a dumb question but how are you controlling boost? Are you attempting to retain the stock boost control solenoid and vacuum lines? Or are you going with an MBC, EBC or flash?

Well with vacuum lines, as a rule of thumb, you don't want things that effect pressure tee'd into things that need a good pressure signal. For example, don't tee in your boost guage or fuel pressure regulator with a vacuum source also tee'd to either BOV or boost control solenoid.

Or if you are not running stock ECU, this is especially true for the MAP sensor.

Here is a question for those more knowledgeable... is it ok to have the following three things tee'd into the same vacuum source:

- map sensor for standalone ecu
- boost control map sensor
- fuel pressure regulator

Is that ok? Or will the fuel pressure regulator effect the pressures in the line? I'm thinking to be safe you probably shouldn't.

The top of the wastegate doesnt need to be connected.

One end of the MBC should go to the bottom of the wastegate and the other end goes to the pressure source off of the intake manifold.
