Sponsorship actually works the other way generally. Run the 9's then ask.

 

First you have to start winning. Unless you have a history with other cars, it will be hard. There are a lot of people like you.

 

oh ok thanks but im the type of guy that will make things happen..im focused on something and determiend and going to try my best to get it done.

 

You have to prove yourself first. It's like saying "I have Aluminum foil, and made a helmet, and want to be an astronaut..........give me a rocket?" It is a tough gig. LIMITED sponsor money to go around from the shops. DO NOT do any of those sponsorship "Guarenteed" packages you see in the mags either, RIP OFF. Keep plugging away bro! You will make it, just they have to see you get in the 9's first.

 

i was also wondering what kind of benifits do sponsors usely give thanks?

jk, usually a percentage off parts, or at their cost, if you prove yourself first. You usually have to be "High profile", or already have dumped a lot into the car, before it would turn heads, and have them offer you something.

 

I think smoked put it best , Coming from being sponsored from several companies myself. I have to say, its extremely hard I had a fully built evo much like you look to build but Built it FIRST then started getting some sponsors, but even at that point it was still partial sponsorships.

scottatayamaha im not 16 i have a house wife and kid .im 20 . i work union and have my own construction company... i have bought 4 cars in the past two years . i have more then 14k in parts sitting in my shed right now thank you.so dont open your mouth and talk grow up im in here to get some info ok.

2. You BETTER be fast.
3. Build the car first, then you get sponsorhips to further enhance the car. You will not get sponsored if you've never built a car before. You have to talk the talk.

 

Your right I am sorry. You should of looked to get sponsored before you bought all those parts. That way you could of gotten a discount and worked with a vendor. Now you will more than likely build your car and run fast times to prove your self before you get sponsored. Oh and put some of that fast cash aside for your baby, I see too many young contruction companys owner get cash fast and become ghetto rich and loose everything....be smart.
