There is a guy I know with Perrin and it sounds about the same as stock, I was not impressed. I went with Megan cat-back down pipe and test pipe later. I love it and get compliments on it all the time. For the money you cannot beat it

i doubt youre going to find a dyno sheet of a stock car vs perrin tbe. it certainly feels like it made more hp, and its definately louder/ deeper tone than stock. the tip and muffler arent too noticeable either which would probobly be a good thing for you since your in Ca. if youre looking for the exhaust that makes the most hp, everyone on here says buschur.

The shop that works on my car and has worked on several several other Evos with aftermarket exhausts, said my Perrin was the best FWIW.

The thing is that i don't want a tbe but i want to get the high flow cat. i don't want too much smell or trouble when i drive my car around. i was also thinking of access port when it comes out.

I have a 03 Evo with the Perrin downpipe, test pipe, and muffler and I would not trade it for anything.

Well the bottom line is it really depends on what your DOING with your car. If your just driving around town/street the perrin with their high flow cat can't be beat with a stick. It's not that loud for a straight through design and it's high quality construction. I personally road race my car so i would melt a Cat hence why i use a test pipe. Also make your decision based off of how anel the cops are in your area if you have laws and such.

i'm sorry i thought that a tbe has to include the stright pipe.

I plan to track my car once every 2-3 months and daily drive it. The thing is i also might get a bigger turbo later on and was wondering if this will have any effect on it negative wise?

about the spacers, what kind and where can i get it?
