id rather go with a proven one (hallman, forge, dejon tool)

a mbc is something i dont want to gamble with, especially since the good ones arent that expensive

Hallman FTW! The turboXS is trash. I had it and swapped it out for the Hallman. Improved spool and taper reduction. I have an VIII and it doesnt taper that much. Im hitting 21psi and it drops to around 19 at redline. I saw you requested a quote from Ultimate CC. Hes a great seller and the MBC is worth the money. I think i paid 95 shipped. Maybe a little bit more.

You should get tuned. It should be alright since the evo's run pig rich from the factory, but you might not get much from it without a tune. The older turbo cars like the SR20DET from nissan you could put a boost controller and bump it up from 7psi stock up to 14psi with no problems. But these damned newer cars you gotta tune to get the most out of it . Honestly a better 1st mod would be a turboback exhaust. I know its alot more expensive, but you'll get a lot more out of it.

Walbro Fuel Pump
02 Housing from AMS
Buschur 3" TBE

Path looks good, but dont forget a fuel pump and headstuds when you do the cams. Depending on the dyno you should make over 300hp easy. I made 292 with just a TBE, intake, MBC, and tune on a DynoDynamics on 93 octane. Thats close to 312 on a Dynojet.

Here is my revised set-up, in order:

Hallman Pro RX MBC
K&N Filter and Adapter
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
ECU Flash Tools
02 Housing
BR 3" TBE
GSC 272 Cams
APR Headstuds

Look like everything I need to get mid-low 12s? I dont want to drop abunch of money into it, but I want to break the 300 whp mark, and be in the 12s!
