Anitilag (Exhaust Flame Shooter)

Hey guys, I was wondering how people create antilag. Do they tune it in their stock ECU or on an aftermarket one like AEM? Is it possible to adjust the antilag on the stock computer when reflashing it or do you need to buy the antilag system yourself and tweak it out like the AEM 4-Channel C2DI Digital Ignition? I've always wanted to shoot flames when rev limiting or doing a 2-step launch. Get back at me whenever you guys get the chance, Thanks I appreciate the tip n info.

if you have a evo 9 then you have a "2 step" stock but iunno if you will throw any fireballs, i seen fireballs when your shifting but havent seen a fireball doing a 2 step on an evo, you can search for supras and rx7's you'll see alot

The purpose of anti-lag is to keep the turbo spooled up when shifting so you dont have lag even with larger turbos. Hence anti-lag. Its not for shooting out flames and it can kill your turbo. If you wanna shoot out flames go get a VTA BOV and dont get tuned. You'll run rich and probably get some fire out the pipe.

My DSM did it between gears coming off the shift limit/antilag between gears. (dsmlink)
It wasn't intentional, but simply a side effect.

FIC 950's + 14% enr @ 10* = BOOM when you get back on the go pedal.
Especially with no cat.

Basic antilag will not shoot fire. You need an enrichment option and to fix the timing low enough to allow enough saturation to get it to light.

If you use the nlts is was more of a crackle, or rapid pops.
No cool F&TF effect tho. Just business.

Fire is the side effect of what it does for you, which was also mentioned. Please don't be the guy thats a ricer dou*** bag that owns an Evo...

Please...

anyone have any maps for antilag with a 30-35r on a stock ECU? I just installed a 3065 kit and it would be great to keep the boost between shifts.

anti-lag is a feature that can be found in high-end stand alones...

keeps the turbo spooled between the shifts or when you lift-off the gas...

a very fine example...

Rigollet Sierra Cosworth

Rigollet Sierra Boom Boom

Anti-lag flames Cossie

Rigollet

BEST example of anti-lag

evo anti-lag

Subaru anti-lag

Evo Rally

Check especially the rally cars... if you drive the car on the road with this system probably someone will call the police and SWAT.... HAHAHAHA

Spools the turbo, but it has high EGTs thus killing it quite fast... check your budget first and be prepared...
