Where to order new rear o2 sensor from?
Any place other then my mitsubishi stealership? Any vendors or dealers on evom have any deals? I tried to search but "buy" wouldnt come up.
^ will work unless yours melted like mine did. And its not guaranteed to be compatible. BUT could work.
Option 1: Google 02 simulator, you need a 4 wire one, tons of places to buy one. But make sure you purchase one with or add an 02 heater simulator as well else you'll still get the CEL light on the Evo.
Option 2:
I'm an electronics geek so i made my own because I was sick of everyone suggesting "go buy a $3 spark plug adapter man." Its ghetto, its weak in construction, its NOT guaranteed to work 24/7 in every situation, and it leaves too much space for your car to short out, much like a local guy in Orlando already experienced last week when he was left stranded on the side of the road with no spark.
I used this page to build the 02 portion
http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/oxy...sor_simulator/
Then you just solder a 20ohm 10watt resistor between the heater wire and the 12v and presto, your done. Total cost for mod - $21. (note I only used 3 wires, you don't "have" to ground the 4th) No exposed wires under the car, nothing sticking out that could get wacked off on a lowered car, and no possibility of exhaust leak due to multiple layers of threads. Google is your friend.
