I do still have some reservations about meth. That is why I started the thread asking why did AMS stop selling meth kits.

Why doesn't iA Performance sell meth kits? Why doesn't Mynes sell meth kits? Why doesn't Vivid sell meth kits?

 

I c.. Jim, there are so many choices now days that you can't go wrong with any. A local friend of mine that runs 10 sec Dodge Stealth has been using a primitive Snow performance alcohol kit for 6 years without a failure. Keep in mind he even have the first gen pump which requires oil in the pump to lubricate the seals.

What I am saying is that even a simple set up would be beneficial to you. Meth= the ability to cranck boost up= big hp/tq increase with proper tuning. You know we live 20 minutes away, whenever you want to check out my set up just let me know.

Jim, have you consider also converting your Evo 9 to the green?, That is another good option for you.

His cams aren't bad at all, those are the same (physical) cams I removed from my own Evo and sold it to him. My power was fine.

you have a nice exhaust setup but the intake side isn't optimal:
ported intake
65mm throttle body
bigger cams
FMIC

 

If you're stuck with **** gas 91, I would strongly consider meth inj as advised to supplement your current mods. It will help you get more of what you could, out of what you already have. If I lived in Cali it would be on my first round of mods list.
