andy, yeah, it is motoring in the last 1/8th mile, gaining 41 mph is huge, glad you noticed it The car makes huge power.

The one thing I did forget to mention is the car still has a stock factory 5 speed transmission in it. Yes, it's been rebuilt with new syncros and upgraded pins but other than that the transmission is STOCK. Daniel also does NOT power shift the car. He is completely off the gas on each shift and with the 42r on it the spool up after the gear change is killing us.

I just can't afford $8,000+ to upgrade to a dog box for the car. I can't imagine how much time we'd gain if we did.

I can tell you that with trap speeds at 170 mph the car is capable of running high 7's. That's in a RWD of the same weight with a real transmission........

the fact that he is shifting with a traditional H pattern amazes me alone.

Congrats.....and nice to hear that was all done w/ that trans.

What clutch do you guys run? And i assume stock axles?
