exhaust question

ok so i did something i regret. you may have seen my post earlier about the bumping noise in my car. it turns out that the place i took the car to to get it looked at says that its my down pipe causing a bumping noise.???? this kind of threw me. its been on my car for a few months now and it just started doing this. The place i took it to was a transmission shop and the guy builds race cars so i assume he knows what he is talking about. he said you can see where the downpipe is hitting the engine undercarraige. so my question for you guys is do yall think this could be the source of a bumping noise in my car that gets louder the faster that i go. also what i regret is buying turbo back exhaust off ebay. one of the hangers off the downpipe didnt line up so i had to fabricate something and on the catback where the exhaust mounts together where it bolts up it was hitting my driveshaft because the metal sides are sticking out right towards the driveshaft instead of away from it. i really need to know if this is how all the exhaust systems are for the evo or if mine is like that because its an ebay system. please let me know if where yours bolts together is facing the driveshaft or is angled to where there is no problem thanks alot guys. im trying to figure out if buying name brand exhaust will fix my problem.

I have an HKS Hi Power exhaust,a HKS GT Extention Kit,and a Perrin high flow cat and I have no issues.Unfortunately when you buy something on ebay they probably have not test fitted anything they sell so you take a huge chance buying ebay knockoff's.
