Engine clearances/tolerances

for all those experienced engine builders:

what are the allowed tolerances for engine bearings (all bearings) specific for our Evos (4G63)?

i wanna make sure that the bearings i recieved are the right size for my engine build. also the tolerances for the piston bore and piston ring gap...

pretty much all the tolerances needed.

thanks

bearing clearance rule of thumb is 0.007-0.001" for every 1.00000" in diameter.

as far as piston to wall clearnace, consult your piston maker, as he would know best, especially if he spec'd out the rings too.

the clearanced mentioned above works for small ends of the rods too.
