Does this turbo mate up with BR's log manifold or just a standard T3 mani?

Wow, I really want this turbo now......

but $1699 is a steep price, but since FP makes it and nobody else does I guess I'll have to bend over and take it in the rear

Comp housing .70
exh housing .63

The turbo comes with a .82, but I swapped it out for the .63 due to my AMS kit. They use a PT 5 bolt exhaust pattern to connect the O2 housing.

With a .63 exh housing it shoudl spoole even faster than with a .82 I bet... right?

Is Buschur running a .63 exh housing on his white RS?

Now that's a good question. I don't know, but I kind of hope he does, because when I go to twin scroll in the future with this Turbo, I'll try to get a similar sized housing if it's a better performer.

If the turbo comes with a .82 hotside and you swapped a .63 on, then this isn't really a legit review... Of course it's going to spool fast with the smaller hot side.

Point taken, which means on a built 2.0L block, lag shouldnt be too bad at all compared to the standard GT35R, maybe it'll even feel like a 50 Trim on the street, the car should have similar spool characteristics and response, all along with the massive top end the GT35R is know to have.

LT1runner, by the way can FP deliver this turbo with the .63 hotside? or is the .82 the only one they'd sell?

So with less displacement and a larger hot side you're expecting this thing to spool like a 50 trim based off of what a guy with a 2.3 and smaller hot side is saying? As awesome as that would be, it's highly unlikely...

no, thats what I'm not trying to say, sorry for not being clear....

I meant to say with less displacement (Built 2.0L, and tuned) and the smaller .63 hotside (assuming Buschur is using the .82 hotside), I'm thinking it should spool similar to a 50 Trim, I dont know man, its just a theory of mine....

Maybe Buschur will answer my question

Also with the .63 on a 2.0 I don't think HTA will spool like a 50trim, but it'll spool closer like a 30R than a standard 35R would on a 2.0.

I can live with that kinda lag.... it should be a good middle ground between the 50 trim and standard GT35R
