I have a stock IX GSR, no mods. Sometimes when I WOT, i would hit 1.3-1.4 bars of boost (which is normal) and then fall back to 1.1 or 1.2 bars. In lower gears sometimes it will even fall back as far as 1.0 bar! Is this normal? Should my boost be fluctuating at all since I'm stock? Sometimes it holds the 1.3-1.4 all the way to redline but other times it hits the 1.3-1.4 then immediately falls back to 1.1 or 1.2 and sometimes as far as 1.0 bar...

 

Check your vacum lines makes sure they are on tight and nothing has moved around

 

Its perfectly normal. Depending on engine load and gear your stock BCS will spike/taper to different amounts.

 

i figured. in 1st and 2nd gear, it falls back to about 1.1 bars. in 3rd and 4th gear, it only falls back to like 1.2 or so. in 5th gear it falls back just slightly or none at all.

 

yes this is norm. u'll get slightly more boost as u go WOT to redline in each gear

 

yep its perfectly normal,, specially in the lower gears you will get a spike at 18-19 and then settle down to 16-17 psi it dpends on the day temp ,,, and then on the higher gear with the engine at full load 4th and 5th you will supposed to spike 20.3 psi and then settle to 18,,,, get a tune youlle have more fun
