With buffing tools! I had a local buffing shop polish them up for me.
The manifolds will turn colors as heat is put through them, however the polished finished should always remain if they are cleaned every now and then. A simple wipe down with alcohol does wonders. It should turn a nice bronze color with the mirror background and slowly turn to a purple color.
