I am currently running it on my Eclipse GSX with a built TRE stage III tranny. It works great for me.

Royal Purple Syncromax...

Has anyone used this? I bought it to flush my transmission with but have not put it in yet, just wanted to know what other people have thought of this fluid.

use the syncromax along w/ this, I think that was his original question, and not just use it by its self...

I used the 75-90w RP full synthetic in my trans, haven't tried the syncromax yet but with the excellent results I've been having with their 75-90w I don't feel a need to switch.

does anyone know what the difference between the two is?

Tried it, too thin for my car and climate, put redline back in which is much better for the transaxle in my case. RP motor oil however is still #1

i had BAD results with regular redline fluid in the trans & TC. I put it in both, I think it was their 75-90w with a bottle of the MTS friction modifier in the trans and their straight 90w in the TC. A few months later when I drained both I had a large amount of metal shavings on both drain magnets.

Now I only use the Redline Heavyweight Shockproof (pink stuff) in the TC and RP 75w-90 in the trans. Very little to no metal shavings now when I change fluids.
