Coolant leak? Advice appreciated

Hi,

Today, I sent in the last payment for my car, payment #57. Should have been a happy day...

Car is a 2003 with the mods listed below (recently added an Evo 6.5 TME and an ACT clutch). Has ~76K miles.

Anyway, car felt great, then when I was stopped at the light before work, I noticed steam coming from under the hood. Temp gauge looked ok, so I figured it was exhaust from the car in front, or the exhaust manifold got wet (it's raining here in MA today). Started driving, and temp gauge started moving up. (CRAP). I cranked the heat, and it stabilized. It was creeping up, and stayed a little higher than normal.

Got to work, and opened the hood. Definitely smell coolant. Seems to be from the back of the engine. I will go back in a sec and check the oil to see if it's "milky". If so, that could be a blown headgasket, right? That would be bad.

Is there a hose that could have split or something? Isn't there a hose that routes the coolant through the TB? Oh well, if you have any thoughts please let me know.

TIA,
