Does the ss clutch ine really make a difference? What role does the "pill' play in the drive train?

it is literally a night and day difference in clutch feel

the pill controls (or limits) the amount of movement of the slave. I personally like how it is better with the pill in, but its all personal preference

As long as it fits, it will work....hardware being included is a nice touch too. A must have for any Evo I think

While not 100% true, your mostly correct. any -3 AN line has teflon. There are a wide arange of -4 AN to -26 AN That are rubber.

I went with Russell. I got in from work, and fast.

When I did the clutch line and pill removal (stock clutch at the time) I noticed that the clutch pedal feel was more consistent and didn't want to slip as much. Its hard to explain really, but if you do it you will notice the difference for sure.

I think im going to just have the stainless pill put in, and at a later date do the pill removal. Figure ill see what just the line will do for me.

Remove the pill before you get the SS clutch line. You will be able to tell a bigger difference removing the pill, than just doing the line and its easy, there are instructions on how to do it at evomoto.com

I thought that it causes your clutch to burn if you dont come off at high RPM properly, but I could be wrong. If I'm right that would mean that you would be able to do some sick launches with the pill removed. Anyone with the knowledge please answer.
The restrictor pill slips the clutch for you. Thats why when people slip on the launch they burn the clutch up. Releasing the pedal as quickly as possible without dropping it = 1.5x's on the stock clutch, tires, and lines.

I understand the "slip" part but i dont quite follow the other part "Releasing the pedal as quickly as possible without dropping it = 1.5x's on the stock clutch, tires, and lines"

He is referring to releasing the clutch pedal and engaging the clutch as quickly as you can without "DUMPING the clutch" = a very good launch without breaking your transmission or transfer case.
