AMS mini radiator weight w/ fan?

I've searched but without success. I could really use this info.
I'm trying to decide between the CBRD radiator kit and the AMS mini set-up. one of these will end up on my street driven, no-ac IX mr.

well,

ours obviously has more capacity, and superior cooling through more area...

but it depends on your use...

if it was drag, id odviously go with the smallest lightest like the ams..

I'm not big on drag racing. I'm more concerned with freeing up space near the turbo and dropping weight. In this case I know the AMS fits the bill nicely but it is a bit costly compared to your version. I just want to make an informed decision and the weight on the AMS mini Koyo is the last question I have.

I am not sure how hot it gets there but I would not ever give up my AC for power here in Dallas.

Why remove the AC in a non drag street car??? You will probably save alot of weight and your engine bay will look cleaner without the hoses all over the place but it doesnt make sence to me.

It makes sense (<- S), less parasitic HP/TQ loss, light weight on the heavy end of the car.

There is more to to motorsports than drag racing. He didn't mention what else he was doing with the car, but noted it is street driven as that would be a factor in determining which cooling system component to use.

It gets hot here in LA but I am just one of those guys that opens the windows. Thats really not the issue here anyway as I asked a very simple question: What's the weight of the mini koyo that AMS sells?
If you need to know, the car is street driven but not daily driven and I couldn't be happier with the decision I made so back to the issue.

CB, do you have the parts in stock? If I go with yours then I would request the package with the fan.

I think personally you would be better off going with the CBRD. Although there is no official test on how much better it is at cooling, it certainly is lighter than stock.
Going with the CBRD you will be covered whatever you decide to do in the future (maybe a trip to vegas) etc. The only reason I would go with the mini radiator is if your primary goal is drag racing.

If you're not looking to drag, listen to the man.

In theory you'd want the most effective radiator for a daily driver, and obviously a radiator with the largest cooling surface will be the best choice.

Yeah, I know the question is a bit ridiculous but the mini's are thicker and also beefier looking than the CBRD so it makes me wonder. I definitely would weigh the thing if I went that rout.
To CBRD: would I need to keep the front pusher fan visible through the grill if I'm tossing the ac core? Or should I shroud up the sides a little filling the resulting gap. Remember, I'm a sucker for weight reduction.
