Oil light / knocking question. looking for opinions

Hey everyone i had my motor rebuilt in july and since then have been having a constant issue with my oil light flicker on the dash. One time my car actually stalled at a light. I just got the car tuned, the idle is fine, the pressure test was fine as well, but in traffic the issue is more likely to occur rather then driving lets say at a constant 60-70mph. Since july i've also developed a knocking coming from the engine, i've changed the oil 4 times already, running synthetic now, and have put just shy of 2,000 miles on since july.

We took the oil pan out today to check for shavings and everything was clean in there. So basically we're kind of expecting that my motor is damaged again but i was wondering if anyone has any possible insight as to what went wrong and what i might be able to do. I put an oil additive in last month and didnt have the light issue for almost three weeks.

And also this might be sort of a newb question, but would i get a light if i had an issue with one of the seals in my transfer case? I have no check engine light ( thank god ) but i know i have a serious problem on my hand. Worse comes to worse we're going to pull the whole block again in 2 weeks, and take it apart and basically start over.

Any insight / recommendations / questions would be great, i'll try and check frequently and answer accurately. I know enough about cars but i'm not a whiz so i'll do my best to answer any questions.

My mods are: Built 2.0 (rods, pistons, valves, etc.) injen piping, turboxs FMIC, stock turbo, stock injectors, dnr manifold, rnr downpipe, tbe. Thanks for taking the time to read all of this.

my first thought was piston slap, which could also cause you knock.

...next is a loose motor, and if the bearings are loose this could cause your oil light to come on, due to tolerences in your rod/crank bearings being overly loose.

...try a heavier weight oil, and see if you oil light goes away.

if there were no shavings try heavier oil. its not a problem with your x-fer case, there are no warning lights for anything in hte drivetrain other than abs and the engine
