im looking to run a gt3582r or a gt37 i want to build block first but not sure if i should just upgrade my rods adn pistons with out going to a stroker or not i would like to do a 2.4 stroker but not sure if i should... if i went 2.4 stroker will it be safe to run the gt35 or gt37 on street adn track on weekends.... and if i should just upgrader piston and rods with out going to a stroker what company are good with rods and pistons thanks
for just the pistons and rods ,go wid wiesco pistons and oliver rods and if u wana doo stroker get jam (jackson auto machine ) stroker kit .
ill recommend u to go gt3582 rather than gt37 as gt37 will be having a bit of lag even on a stroker .

Whether you want a stroker or a built 2.0L would depend on your intended use. Almost all of the top drag cars are 2.0L. Strokers provide increased low end, but sacrifice high end RPMs.
There are plenty of 37R cars that are running on the street. It depends on your tolerance for when boost comes "on the curve". FP is coming out with a 37RHTA version that will have much stronger mid-range, if the 35RHTA maps are any reasonable comparison.
On the other hand, there are now a number of stock blocks with Evo Greens that are making well over 400 HP and huge torque numbers (470+) that might be a very nice option for you as well.
I'd suggest driving cars equipped with the various turbos you're considering before you spend big $ and then decide you were actually looking for a different performance envelope.
