Question scheduled services?

Hey guys,
Just picked up my evo! Very very happy with the car.

I briefly flipped through the owners manual and saw the 5000 mile interval service forms. Are those the officially scheduled services? Is there one right after break in?

thanks!

Congratulations on your new EVO. According to Mitsubishi, 5,000 miles is the first service, sounded strange to me too, but I asked the service manager and called Mitsubishi and they both said the same things.

Tuners are recommended running dino juice for the first few thousand miles then switching back to synthetic to get better performance, but that would be your own call, the owner's manual does say using non-sythetic oil will void the warranty.

If you do a search under oil changes you can read what vishnu has to say about using the dino juice.

Have fun with your new car.
