are they worth getting. i hear they crack and get extreamly hot. i dont want to mess up my carbonfiber hood. also i hear the stock header is very good. help please

your stocker is fine. Port it coat it if you want a decent upgrade. Try searching.............an exhaust manifold has nothing to do with you hood, by the way.

with over 4 billion posts, one would think you've read/posted in just about every thread, multiple times!

Don't waste your money on a tubular, like others have said, port the stock manifold.

I disagree with you guys. I've had the Megan headers for over a year now and no cracking and the car does produce more torque and quicker spool up. The headers make sure there is a clean exit of the exhaust gases which the stocker can't do under high rpms. Exhaust gases on the cast iron manifold tend to collide with each other and some gases will seep back into the engine causing more back pressure and a dirty combustion. Tubular headers will make sure that never happens since the exhaust from each cylinder will be completely seperate from the other. Cleaner burn and directed flow = safer power...IMO
