Drivetrain fluids

I don't mean to be a burden but I've read through alot of threads regarding drivetrain fuids on here and have one final question. I have an evo 9 and there is a reservoir in the engien bay for what seems to be acd? I have no clue in how this works (comming from dsms), Where is this connected to the transfercase or the trans? If so, do I top the fluids off in the reservoir? I tried searching and haven't come up with much, these fluid change tutorials speak nothing of it.

I'd appreciate if someone could explain this reservoir purpose or some sort of illustration from a FSM for this.

Also, I've seen to gather a general consensus that not everyone agrees on the transfluid (I plan on using AMSOIL GL4 synthetic) but transfercase and rear end seems to be mostly agreed on using the factory mitsubishi diaqueen fluids. Thanks for any input ahead of time.
