Open air filter, helix downpipe, test pipe, HKS catback, SAFC with corrections set to 0. I know that a previous owner had an UICP with stock battery, and an exhaust. Guess that's as good of a place to start as any! Anyone know what the outside diameter is of the section where the intake pipe connects to the turbo? I'm going to throw together another one of my fabulous boost leak detectors

i would flash the ecu and you could add a couple more things if you wanted to before you get the flash. especially if youre planning on adding them to the car soon. i got my flash through dynoflash. i got better gas mileage, ridded of the speed limiter, rev limiter, and fuel cut. i got more power out of it as well. buschur racing also does good ecu flashes so you could check into theirs.

Anyone ever have their car flashed back to stock? Cost? I don't really have the loot or the mods installed to have the car flashed.

w8lifter21 my mileage sucks about as bad as yours does. BUt mine didnt alway suck this bad. I used to get between 240-260. now I am lucky to get 200. I have to do the boost leak test and check the plugs. the car does not feel weak but it sure does suck having to fill up 1.5 times more each month...btw I have been using the gas from the same shell station almost the same pump every time for approximately 1 year...93 octane

It totally balanced the car out. No more meth head stock turbo, and boost when you don't want it. I still see 20psi in 3rd around 3800/4000. And pulls 200% better than the stock turbo on top. And I get alot better gas mileage when my foots not in it.
As he stataed Stock block is fine I have a stock block with a Shearer GT35r and it will take 24 psi all day and night. But im in the process of building the block and porting the head so i can FLOG the crap out of my Evo. Its the only way it knows how to be treated

Yeah that's the plan, but 15mpg is KILLING me. I definetly want to get cams, fuel pump and a few other misc little things, but there has to be something wrong or a tune for mods that aren't on the car anymore.

Is it ok for me to run a GT35r on stock block, valvetrain? This next question is going to be very noob like, but, what power level can I expect to be at with that kit? I'd like to squeeze out as much of the stock turbo as I can before taking the leap to bigger and better snails .
