Scatter Shield

Is it worth $200? I'm almost dont with gathering my parts for the 5spd conversion, is a scatter shield worth it? I plan on running a 35r in the future and maybe a 67trim, but both would be on a T3 manifold. Car is for track and street. So is it worth the $$$?

TIA

Nick

What we say in the motorcycle business. A $10 helmet for a $10 head. What is your head worth?? In your case your legs?

I've got another question, related to scatter shields:

What power rating would you suggest they start to be needed?

350, 400? More?

Our cars do start with ~280, so...

Its more time than power. If I was planning on going 10.50 or quicker i'd spend the 200. I also think its almost REQUIRED by the NHRA. Im not sure of the time they say its needed.
