from what i have been reading that the tob clip only pops off when something went wrong during the install...how do you know when the tob clip pops off?

Oh trust me... you'll know.

Some of it has to do with driving style too. Stab the clutch pedal like you're kicking a midget in the head when you shift? Tack the clip in place.

I'd pay extra for that!

How do you tack the clip in place? Doesn't it have to be mounted/installed first? Tack it through the inspection ports??? I've only did this job once, remember what a pain it was, but selective memory has made the whole experience fuzzy for me.
