I have one from the same vendor. I have had it for a year. Works great (at the road course), looks great. Nice piece for the price.

will the piping be much better than the injen pipe kit with intake (sp1989)? is it worth to buy that and buy a cone filter also, or buy the injen which has a cone filter and have the i/c pipe kit but forget the i/c??

plumbing is plumbing on the evo. Fast Frank ran 480whp on stock plumbing. Just make sure you get the couplers from the seller.

I have the stock upper IC plumbing and a Nisei LICP with my Ebay IC. All of it works well together. I don't think there are any gains with the aftermarket UICP since most of it is the same size as stock.

Thats the one I am running. I have the Injen pipes on mine and it was hard to get the the stock couplings to fit. I had to get 2x 45 degree couplings from forge to get it to fit mine.

ebay is great it's not like they make the parts. Some stuff is junk some stuff isn't. I have heard this particular intercooler is pretty good. Wish they made it in a 25x12.5x3.5 core though.

This is the best intercooler available right now. It'll get you 40hp and you don't even need a re-flash. AMS and Buschur both run it on all of their cars. You should pm Dave Buschur directly and ask him about it.

Or you could use the search feature and avoid creating another effing thread full of people whining about this craptacular intercooler.
