it's hit and miss with some intakes. Some cause problems, some don't, even though the intake may be the same brand/kit etc.

Who did your tune? Was it mail in, custom, dyno tuned, road tuned.....? Did they just tune it for WOT or for driveability also? Did they raise the idle, or anything else?

Have you tried the procedure (somewhere in manual) to reset idle:
1. warm up the engine
2. switch off, disconnect the battery for couple of seconds, then connect again
3. start the engine and let it idle for 5-10 minutes

For me it cleared all the problems that I had with idling (after tune - especially when AC switched on).

damn, im having the same exact issue right now with my car...and i have the same exact mods as you, including the hks intake...

Might have to go back to the stock rubber intake pipe and a cone filter...

I would have to disagree with HKS intake being the problem. Why? Well i am running the stock box still and i have had this idle problem for a while now. I just got road tuned and i still have the idle prob. Even the road tuner person was dumbfounded by the idle hiccups.

interesting...well im having a boost leak test done hopefully wednesday, that will rule that out being the culprit...
