i was wondering if my stock fuel pump can hold if i want to put an exhaust, filter and tune it at 20-21psi?
do i need to change it to walbro255?

Risk blowing your engine for running lean to save 2 tanks of gas? I think the answer is quite simple.

I do agree with putting a Walbro on, but it is not a necessity if all your doing is exhaust, filter, and tune for 21 psi which by the way is stock anyway. It gives that peace of mind. I have the BR Stage I on and I don't have the Walbro installed, but I think Santa is bringing me one for Christmas though.

I got my walbro from a vendor on here for $72 shipped.

 

Deff put a Walbro in there. Play it safe

 

for sure its better to put one but is it sufficient bec i see some upgrade packages from different vendors dont put fuel pump at early stages!
if i tune my car b4 installing the fuel pump and then i put a new one do i need to do anything with the tune?

Issues with the stock pump will be seen with 20psi in the higher rpm this is easily seen with a wideband especially on the VIII. Its cheap insurance
