How is your AEM 2 step launch limiter set-up?

Just wondering as my tuner was mentiong he has mine set up up via speed not based off clutch actuation.

I was assuming that the clutch switch would be best as if i try to leave off the line w/ the pedal to the floor and try to slip the clutch if the car spun wouldn't my foot at wot cause just more boost to built up causing more wheel spin

I was also considering switching to the AEM boost control solenoid instead of my MBC.

Would that help bring the boost on a bit easier to gain traction allowing me to make use of 1st gear?

I'm assuming you are using an AEM EMS.

So when your tuning mentions the 2step is ran by VSS he means the 2step is always active below say 6-8 mph, after that it is de-activated.

The AEM boost solenoid is a great tool. You can dial in boost via vehicle speed (most commonly used), rpm vs. throttle position, PID. With the vehicle speed based boost you can limit how much boost you launch on and run thru each gear down the track.

how do you raise or lower the 2 step in the AEM is it just under the 2step rev limit options??? will this change anything else in the tune if I play around with that??? I'm wanting to lower my 2 step because I'm spinning off the line really bad.
