Power question...please help

I really didn't know where to post this, but i would like some help.

disclamer: i will start by saying that yes i know the best thing to do would be to get my car dyno'ed, but the closest AWD dyno to me is at least 6 hours away. i do not have the time, nor desire to drive there just to get my car dyno'ed. once i mod the car more, i will make the trip to have it dyno tuned.

with that out of the way, i will now move on to the question. i have a 2006 EVO IX MR. the only power mods on the car are a K&N drop in filter, and an HKS carbon ti catback exhaust. no tune, no flash, no other power mods whatsoever. i would like to know if anyone can tell me about how much power those two mods added together. i asked dave buschur from buschur racing a while back while discussing future plans for the car. he gave me an estimate of about 25whp. i would like to know what the rest of you think. he's an authority on all things associated with EVO tuning, so i am inclined to believe what he says. i have gotten some crazy responses from quoting that number though, so i'd like to see what the general opinion about this is. thanks for your help.

Im guessing maybe 15-25 whp?Im not sure but I would totally trust David from BR.I would maybe wait to get a few more mods before you get the car tuned.More so because you live quite a distance from the dyno.Best of luck!

thanks for your input, but would you guess closer to 15, or 25? lol that's a 10hp gap. and i stated above that i will wait until i mod more before i make the drive for the tune. thanks again.

I guess you're goin for looks.
If you're lookin to dyno your car anytime soon, I would suggest gettin more power mods b4 you get tuned and dynoed. That stuff can get expensive real quick (and troubling since it's far).
If you just wanna know about how much power you added, ~15 hp for the tbe and 10% increase from your base hp from the filter, so ~5. Add that with a mbc (21-22psi) and a tune, and you should make ~300whp.

thanks for the input, and advice, but as i stated in the first post: I WILL NOT GET THE CAR DYNO'ed until i have more mods. also, it's not a TBE, it's a CAT BACK. I'm not "going for looks." the exterior mods came because about a month after i got the car somebody rear ended me, so i just went ahead and did the rear bumper, trunk, roof, hood, etc. also, i wanted to change out the suspension because that's more important than more power for autocrossing. then, i bought a house, so the house has come before anymore EVO mods. i've also got another car that has also recieved attention.
