EGR Valve

My valve gasket just broke while driving, hurd a whistle noise and just checked it out. seems to be that the gasket just crumbled away. Is there a block off that is available, can i custom make one, or do i have to have this?

Using a block off plate will set a code.

it is for emisions... and the emissions is something the ECu checks for.. so it will throw a code.. doesnt mean it wont run.. you'll just have a CEL
