Current feedback? What's different about the stock boost level since the car came out?

It's like asking, when was the attack on Pearl Harbor? I want some current feedback.

By the way, only Evil-8 has answered correctly so far.

~20.5 (max) is stock on a IX, not 19. It's the the car you have. Please leave the foolishly condescending, sanctimonious remarks for those who don't know better and stop being a toolbag.

PS i tried searching for stock boost pressure but couldn't belive 19 or even 16 since my boost is so low
One mod he took off: MBC. Get one or get the stock boost lines from a dealer and you'll be good.

1. I don't need to call Mitsubishi. 20.5PSI is max boost as per their published specs. Clearly, your info comes from hearsay:

2. You're a toolbag, because of your own comments, especially when you're dead-wrong:

You may want to take a break from dating your first cousin and actually try to learn something, instead of trying to weasel out of your own words. BTW, Dumb and Dumber was not a documentary.

The stock boost pressure is merely a fart in the wind. But just like how certain diets can change a fart, so can the boost be changed by the climate. As much as a 5 psi difference with same stock car.

Then you run a lame site. If this guy searches, he gets the EXACT answer instead of cluttering up the search index with yet another thread asking the same damn question. Plus, if you notice, 90% of the people who answered don't know what they're talking about.

You think by not giving the answer I'm not helping, but in fact, I _am_ helping, because if he learns to use the search engine, he not only will get the EXACT answer (not guesses or hearsay), but he will also be empowered to find similar information in the future. if I just answer the question (again for the 20th time or so), then it continues to clutter the search engine, and it encourages him to be a helpless child.

If you ban people for that, then you are short-sighted and ignorant.

The answer is this, since NO ONE has answered the question completely and accurately:

USDM 03-04 = 19.5psi (3500rpm) tapering to 16psi (6500rpm)
USDM 05-06 = 20.3psi (3500rpm) tapering to 17psi (6500rpm)

Notice how it's not an VIII vs IX thing...

www.gixxer.com go check it out.. with 75k members we do pretty good. i know all too well about cluttering up the search, and repeat threads year after year after year. but there is a way to go about it, and many people on this board do it the wrong way.

im not against searching at all, i encourage it(and i actually search all topics i ask about before posting a new thread), but it must be done in a positive way. im sure people like you are very tired of telling newbs to search so you do it in an arrogant, annoying way. this will do nothing but create more negativity. if you actually took a second to realize that not everyone that comes on a message board has been around message boards for years and they dont really know how they work. thats why i said the search ****'s.. people like that are very annoying. and those are the people ill ban (temporarily but banned nonetheless) . i just cant stand *******s who jump into a guys thread and talk down to him about using the search, and then 5 other people who only want to up their post count say the same damn thing.. its f'ing pointless. so find a courteous way to encourage searching and ill bet that you will get a more positive response and more people using the search feature.
