my evo bucks is this normal

my evo bucks is this normal

sometimes in first or second if i let the rpms drop to 2k or below then speed up the car will start bucking back and forth i figuered i should just clutch through speed bumps or retards in front of me who go to slow. has anyone else had this prob this is the first manual i have owned so im not sure?

yes. with practice (slowly coming on the throttle) and good (firm, thin sole) shoes you can minimize this, even in first gear.

yes this is normal

i installed a grounding kit and it helped with the bucking a lot

i woud suggest making your own, its easy and cheap

i think i spent about 25 bucks on wire and connectors

Part of that simply has to do with a very tight driveline and stiff mounting.

I don't know about those grounding kits.... I read another thread where they talk about grounding bolt threads getting stripped during installation and causing all kinds of electrical problems including stalling, bucking, etc.

Just my $.02
